Department of Special Education: Evaluation Process


Students who may benefit from special education services are evaluated by a team of certified and/or licensed district specialists using observations, information gathered from all involved parties and/or formalized testing. The team, including parents, specialists and general education staff then meet to determine qualification and the best possible educational setting for the child.
