Mission Statement
The mission of the District 41 Library Media Center program is to facilitate opportunities that integrate information literacy skills into learning activities, while fostering a love of reading. The LLC program will continually support district and building goals as it delivers the highest quality library media programs and services to the learning community.

Checkout Policy

Students may have a total of 3 items checked out

Standard collection has a 2 week checkout (renewals usually available)

Magazines have a 2 day checkout

Overdue, Damaged, or Lost Items

Students having an overdue item must return or pay for the item before any other items can be checked out

Chronically late students may be placed on limited access, which means 1 item at a time

Damage to books or materials is charged according to severity

Lost books require full cost of replacement and payment is expected 1 month beyond the due date

If a lost item is found and returned (in good condition) after it has been paid for (but during the same school year), the cost of the book will be refunded
